I rest in Source./ I am as Source created me.
When I began writing these ACIM blog posts I had some reservations.
Should I really do this? Committing to 365 days of blogs seemed overwhelming. What if I missed a day? Or worse. What if no one cared that I missed a day.
Then I began a small ritual, I still employ before writing every day. I prayed.
Before every post I ask that whatever Spirit would like to convey today come through me to help those of you reading feel loved, seen, and connected. Done.
Then I got out of the way and started writing.
And guess what? It was much, much easier with my ego out of the way.
Lesson 120 gives us each the opportunity to similarly get out of the way and rest in the Universe. It states that when we can let the Universe work through us, we can rest in perfect quiet and certainty.
Sounds simple right? Enter the ego.
The ego wants to be seen. The ego wants to be recognized. The ego worries about how it is seen or perceived, and what it can get out of every stinkin’ moment. But Source knows better.
It asks us to get quiet. To listen. To honor the stillness that is the truth of how Source created us. We can rest assured in this certainty.
So today I invite you to pray to your day, dear friends. To ask the Universe to work in, through and as you for the highest good possible.
I can’t wait to find out the miracles that you manifest as a result.
