There is no death. The Son/Daughter of God/Source is free. [W-p1.163.1.1]
We are always in choice. To choose to worship the things of this world. Or to choose to see beyond it.
I don’t know about you. But sometimes seeing beyond the things of this world to my freedom…Well. It ain’t easy.
So I’ve been trying on a 3 step process to get me through. ACC:
1. A: Awareness. Acknowledging what I am feeling in the moment without judgement. Really (yipes!) being willing to take an honest look.
2. C: Curiosity. Wondering what this moment has to teach me. Instead of giving in to my normal reactivity.
3. C: Compassion for myself. And anyone else who might be feeling this same way right now. Not expecting perfection. Maybe even doing some Tonglen breathing, in & out for those same folks. Then letting go and trusting in the Divine plan.
And while I am certainly not perfect. Lesson 163 reminds me that these practices are a stepping stone toward my goal of being free. Of acknowledging the ending (aka death) of feelings that cause disharmony. Like anger, envy, anxiety, doubt or concern for all that is material. Lesson 163 reminds me that these have never really lived in the archives of eternity anyway.
We are free in our Divinity. And this Divine surrender happens, in truth, one tiny step at a time.
