It is getting time for my partner’s birthday. I love a good birthday. Picking out the perfect gift. Finding something that will surprise and delight. Seeing the happiness on someone’s face when they receive.
But speaking of receiving…this is the part I am less good at.
As often as I love to give a gift. When I receive one, I just feel awkward. Like I’m in the hot seat. And everyone is waiting for my reaction….
Lesson 104 reminds me that Source is a happy-gifter. And when I replace Source's gifts of love and peace in my mind with things like anxiety, fear, or awkwardness? It is just my monkey-mind’s hesitation to receive the gifts that are already mine to live. An unlimited supply of serenity and connection.
Source is like that person finding us the perfect gift we didn’t even know we were missing. And when we open. When we can receive....Well, we open ourselves to the life of unlimited possibilities and joy we belong living in truth.
