ACIM Rewind: Einstein is You! Creating the World You See-ACIM Lesson 32

I have invented the world I see. [W-p1.32.5.1]

You’ve got to be kidding me right?

I have invented the world I see??!!

War. Famine. Poverty.

No way man. Not me. I didn’t do it.

And like my Gemni sister used to say-My imaginary friend Leah definitely did it. Not me.

Lesson 32 again asks us to choose again. To look, not at what we think we see on the outside-chaos, Disease. But to remember what we have on the inside. It suggests the two can reconcile more than I might think.

Stick with me.

I’ve said before that humans naturally look for what we have known in history. We try to learn from our past mistakes. So when I, for example try to carry 12 bags of groceries into the house and one busts open, I might try carrying a few less the next time. This helps me to remember what doesn’t work.

What goes rogue, however, is when I obsessively examine every single bag I get for breaks. Over and over again. When I keep focusing on the bags in front of me. To the exclusion of the beautiful blue sky or the birds chirping. Or in spending time with my new bag friends while my cats stare longingly at their string toys on the floor.

THIS is when sh** gets real. Literally.

In focusing on my troublesome bags, I have made one moment in time my reality. It has become the cloud that has shut out all other beauty and light in the Universe. I have invented a new bag-aka focused reality-as my Universe. And I am missing all the beauty I could create instead.

Hey, I’m not bagging on bags (see what I did there?). But I sure do love a good rainbow. Or time to write. Or friends who make me laugh out loud. So, if I’m going to focus my time. My attention. My reality. That’s where I want to live. That’s the world I want to be in.

And I can. I can choose again. I can fix the bag in front of me. And move on to the rainbows and laughter.

And you can too. When we all focus on the world we want to see....Imagine what an existence we could collectively create.

Your focus is your reality friends. The sum total of all of the joys or heartaches you string together as the moments of your life.

Choose well. Choose to invent the best version of this beautiful existence.

Namaste LightWorker.
